At OnyxChat, we build products with a privacy-first mindset. This Privacy Policy details how we handle information in connection with the OnyxChat applications and services.

1. No Collection of Your Personal Data

OnyxChat does not collect, store, or sell your personal information. Specifically:

We do not collect names, email addresses, or phone numbers.
We do not track your IP address or access location logs.
We do not collect telemetry, analytical diagnostics, or device identifiers.

2. Local Database & Local Storage

Your messages, profiles, key rings, and chat history are saved purely on your physical hardware (local storage or local application database container). This data is encrypted on-device. OnyxChat developers or servers have no access to your conversations.

3. Zero Message Interception

OnyxChat utilizes end-to-end cryptographic layers (X3DH key exchange and Double Ratchet algorithms). Messages are encrypted before leaving your device and can only be decrypted by the intended recipient. No third party (including us) can intercept or view them.
